Portable Gas Grills
The portable gas grill is one of the most common symbols of the American summer, and portable gas grills are also used in many other parts of the world. Portable gas barbeque grills come in all shapes and sizes. Some of the most popular brands of portable gas grills include the Olympian portable gas grill, the ASC portable gas grill, the Foreman portable dome gas grill (also known as the Foreman portable gas grill / George Foreman portable gas grill), and the Weber Genesis portable gas grill. Most of these portable gas grills are of the portable table top gas grill design; they are basically rolling platforms on which you can place the things that you are cooking. There are also more exotic designs of portable gas grills, such as a suitcase portable gas grill, which may be a more portable gas grill for camping.

If you want to bbq with a portable gas barbeque grill but you already have a charcoal grill that you do not want to get rid of, you can either use both (as some people prefer the taste of meat which is cooked on a charcoal grill because of the coal smoke taste which is imparted to the meat) or you can use a portable gas grill cylinder adaptor to use a propane or other kind of natural gas heating source to cook the food on your existing grill. The advantages of gas grills are that there is much less cleanup - when you use a gas grill you do not have to get rid of burnt fuel afterwards, as there are no burnt coals or wood chips and the gas itself is not harmful to the environment as it is changed into mostly water vapor during the burning process. One of the few drawbacks some people see to using portable gas grills is that the water vapor produced during the burning makes a "wet heat" as opposed to a dry heat, and if you cook for a long time that can soften the meat (this might also be seen as a positive quality depending on your tastes). Many people also like the taste of meat that is cooked on portable gas grills better because it is a cleaner taste.
Portable gas grills have long operating lives because you can buy replacement parts. As long as you are careful with the compressed propane fuel source and operate your gas grill safely, portable gas grills are one of the more cost effective and useful ways to grill for the long run.
